Hi, I'm Tom Wheeler, DMD.  The first thing I want patients to know about me is that I am dedicated to making their experience with my office the most comfortable and enjoyable it can be.  Please see the testimonial page to hear what my patients have to say about coming here.  I am a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. After graduation, I set my sites on opening my own practice. As a new dental professional, I am keenly aware of the new  technologies and treatments available for the care for my patients. I want all of my patients to experience the benefits of a healthy mouth. 

Some new patients may be surprised that they are not given the same diagnosis that they were given in the past. Many factors can contribute  to the changes, but two stand out above the rest. First, time has past? Without proper care, conditions typically worsen and can reach a point that makes previous options unacceptable. The second is the emphasis I place on oral health. While you may be aware of some of the disease processes present in your mouth, there can be others that are of greater risk to your overall health and well being, and yet they remain hidden to you. We take your health seriously and will not allow compromise when your present and future health is at risk.

I was the first dentist in Kentucky to have completed training for using the Periolase laser that is integral to the FDA approved LANAP treatment that is available to those who suffer from Periodontitis. 

 

Hi, I'm Brooke.  I am Dr. Wheeler’s assistant.  I have been working with Dr. Wheeler since 2005.  I completed my assistant training at the Academy of Dental Assisting in Louisville.  I can help you because of my own personal experience with so much of the  treatment and care involved in obtaining a superior level of oral health. I can also provide you with literature to give you more information about treatments or conditions based on Dr. Wheeler’s diagnosis.
