Just to clarify- it is not insurance, but rather dental benefits. No company I know of provides insurance against a cavity.
We are not contracted with any company that provides dental benefits. We have found that being in business with your benefits company causes too many conflicts of interest. Our goal is to provide you with the best care you choose, not to do what a massive corporation tells us to do for you. We fill out your paperwork, put it in a stamped envelope and let you take it to the nearest post box to get your benefit mailed directly to your home.
Being “out of network” typically means you will be bullied into
changing to an "in network" office, BEWARE! Very
often insurance companies will stress to you that you
"SHOULD ONLY GO TO AN IN-NETWORK PROVIDER". They will
make many statements hoping to influence you to that can
seem like you are only hurting yourself by
making important choices for yourself. Again,
please do
not let a huge corporation make personal, possibly life
changing decisions for you.
There is more to consider when choosing a dentist than finding the absolute cheapest way to get treatment. Most policies are simply incapable of meeting the needs of all but a few. We have many patients that have found our service and care to be more than adequate to make up any small difference in overall cost. The goal of our office is to provide quality, comfortable, and personalized care!
What if I don't have Dental Insurance? See what Wendy has to say.
Don’t worry if you don’t have any benefits from a dental
insurance company. Many people find that their benefits
aren’t as helpful to them as their premiums would be
if they could apply them directly to their care. You
might want to investigate a cafeteria plan or a health
savings account to help pay for your health care needs
with pre-tax money. Please, don’t worry if you don’t
have dental coverage. The biggest issue is your overall
health and the problems that can arise from trying to
save a few dollars a year by not seeing the dentist on a
regular basis. The longer you wait for treatment, the
more expensive it will be to regain the optimal health
you deserve. Many people simply use a credit card that
they already have available with a
promotional rate. Bank financing is also available
for those that qualify. You can apply for this
online from the comfort of your home, or use one of our computers to apply at your
convenience.
